OG-155 Antique Japanese Doll of Maiko with Bamboo Parasol, Early 1950's

Unique large Japanese doll represents Maiko or apprentice Geisha, win lovely pink silk
kimono with hand-painted playing palace's children motif, red silk crepe under kimono and high
platform lacquered wooden shoes.
She holds traditional Japanese bamboo-silk parasol in her hand.
The doll crafted in early 50's in Kyoto.
Young Maiko is walking and her dynamic pose and sensual face makes her wonderful doll you ever see before.
Her hair is adorned with traditional Maiko's red comb and hair-pins, as well as red ribbon.
The doll have been kept carefully in Japanese family so it is excellent condition with
no damage and with excellent antique taste.
Dimensions: 65cm/26” high and 35cm/15” wide.
