Antique Japanese doll represents young hero of Heike Monogatari (The Tale of Heike, Japanese medieval narrative) Yoshitsune. He dressed in turkish-blue silk brocade hitatare, orange-red kimono and gauzy headscarf on his head for escaping recognition. His black hair brushed in Heian era style for young aristocrats. He walk and play the flute. This wonderful doll crafted in mid 30's. Very tender face, dynamic pose and very rich and very detailed costume of the doll ensure the finest quality and craftsmanship. The doll has been kept carefully in glass box, so it is in excellent condition without any damage. Wooden stand with name of the doll and artist's name and old display and storage box come with.
