Artistically hand-painted with gold and applied with
silver folia Japanese
wooden lacquered comb with two samurai family crest
or mon and flowers and petals motif. Probably as a wedding gift was the property of
Buke Musume (samurai daughter).
An exquisite addition to any
collection.
About 1900's., Meiji period
Very good condition in overall, some silver folia petals
have been lost because of it antiquity
